Below is a listing of the types of cakes we offer, and we can mix and match the types to meet your design and serving needs. Servings vary depending on cake size, so please check our pricing section to determine cake size.
Cakes:
Sheet--Standard rectangle-shaped cake. Sizes are quarter sheet, half sheet, and full sheet. Typically 3" deep.
Standard Shaped--Using standard commercial baking pans, cakes can be baked in a variety of shapes, such as round, heart, oval, square, hexagon, and flower petal. Typically 3" to 4" deep.
3-D--Using special-designed pans, cakes can be baked into 3-D shapes. A variety of 3-D shapes are available, so take a moment to view the options on our 3D pricing page. If a 3-D pan does not exist for your desired design, a Sculpted Cake type can be an option.
Tiered--Though commonly seen at weddings, the tiered cake is becoming popular for birthday and graduation events, too. This design allows for a stacking of one shape or different shapes of cakes. The cakes can be stacked upon each other or separated by specialized cake equipment such as pillars, globes, bowls, columns, cake stands, etc.
Sculpted--These hand-carved cakes are carefully sculpted into a specific object for the cake design. Cake can take on nearly any shape needed with this technique, which allows us to create your favorite belonging or animal.
Mini--These small-serving cakes are great for gifts or favors for your special event. Typically 4" to 6" across.
Cupcakes:
Mini Cupcakes--Approximately 1-3/4" across and 1-1/4" tall.Standard Cupcakes--Approximately 2-3/4" across and 1-1/2" tall.
Jumbo Cupcakes--Approximately 3-1/4" across and 2" tall.
King-Sized Cupcakes--Approximately 3-1/2" across and 3-1/4" tall.
